This elegant mask actually looks like carved jade. It has a subtle depth which is achieved with 12 layers of varnish tinted in different shades of jade green to give the illusion of translucent stone. The interior is leafed with your choice of gold or silver and , though it is shown here with ribbon ties, it can be ordered on a dowel rod which is also leafed in gold or silver and decorated with either red or black ribbon and tassels. The faux jade finish can also be done on other styles and shapes, such as a dragon, just email me if you have a special request.
