Burn

This piece is one of my few
acrylics. It is a 3 dimensional relief sculpture in paper mache on canvas.
It also has some accents which are painted with blacklight sensitive paint.
It gives the painting a completely different feel to light it that way,
very striking. It is based on a poem of mine which is a reminder to never
take one moment of life for granted, and to reach as high as you can.

burn for me
match my fire
singe the world with your
passing
and glow forever
an ember in the night
